How to Measure Yourself for the Perfect Fit

At Coshalo, all of our designs — from steampunk skirts and coats to Halloween cloaks — are made in standard U.S. sizes. That means no confusing conversions from European sizing. To help you find the perfect fit, follow our easy measuring guide before placing your order.

How to Measure Yourself

1. Bust

  • Wrap a measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest.

  • Keep the tape snug but not tight, and make sure it stays straight across your back.

2. Waist

  • Measure around the narrowest part of your waist (usually just above the belly button).

  • Keep the tape comfortably close to your skin without squeezing.

3. Hips

  • Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom.

  • Ensure the tape stays level all the way around.

4. Shoulder & Sleeve (for coats & jackets)

  • Measure from the edge of one shoulder across to the other.

  • For sleeve length, measure from the top of your shoulder down to your wrist.

5. Length (for skirts & cloaks)

  • Measure from your natural waist down to the desired hemline (knee, ankle, or floor length).
